Matt Chadourne and I recently made an appearance on a special mini-episode of Julia Prescott and Allie Goertz’ Simpsons podcast. Julia is an LA comic who recently stopped through Knoxville to do a show on her “Please Laugh: This is for my Album Recording” tour. Seeing as how Knoxville is one of a handful of smaller American cities with a very central part in a golden-era Simpsons episode, she couldn’t not record a special mini-episode of the podcast in the Sunsphere! Matt and I also took her to see the world’s largest Rubik’s Cube at the Holiday Inn nearby. We were glad to help Julia check off two major items off of her Simpsons tourism checklist (which I’d imagine totally exists), and we had a great time chatting about The Simpsons and our fair city.
