Champaign, Illinois! I’ve never been before (and judging by this postcard, neither had my great-grandfather), but can’t wait to check you out. Also, the opener, Kyle Fields will be driving in from Springfield, SO IT COUNTS. Also, I’m taking Braid’s advice about Urbana, so I’m staying on the West side for this run.
This will also be my first headlining spot in a record store, so there’s that, too. I’ll probably wind up spending much more than I make, but meh. I’m looking forward to meeting my new friends at Exile on Main Street records tonight. 7pm showtime and no cover. Just donate some gas $ and/or buy a record or tape.
