Knox Comedy / Music is None of my Business

This Week: Santa, Slay Tracks, and Standup

Happy December! This is what I’m up to this week, between hosting tonight’s special jolly edition of Friendlytown, spinning records on Wednesday, and fucking finally releasing Modern Life is Awesome on LP!

MONDAY/TONIGHT

Friendlytown Writes Letters to Santa! Come on down to Pilot Light as we gather with our finest parchment and finest quill pens to tell the big man we were a bunch of good little girls, boys, and non-binary kids in 2018. We want the GOOD train set for city hall, dammit.

WEDNESDAY

Nathan McKinney and I are back at it, playing all your favorite pleasant indie rock “hits” of yesterday and today, with some surprises thrown in. Come on down to the Parlor above Maple Hall and drink, hang out, and maybe even dance a little. Have I mentioned they have the best fries in Knoxville, hands down?
Maple Hall (Upstairs) // 8pm // 21+ after 9pm? (I think)

FRIDAY

It’s my Knoxville record-release party at Last Days of Autumn! David Habel and Nancy-Wren Bradshaw are opening up with Beth Tompkins hosting. I’ve got a couple of surprises in store, potentially, that are completely stupid but fun. If you can’t make it out, but want a copy of the limited-edition Modern Life is Awesome LP on a surprise color, then you can buy it here!
