I can’t remember being prouder of my adopted hometown than I was for the 48 hours between 7pm on January 19th and 7pm on January 21st, 2017. I don’t have enough time for a teary recap, but we’re currently gathering photographic and videographic evidence of the shows. Here are a handful of pictures I snapped from the 2-night pop-up comedy festival that raised ~$3,000 for the ACLU.
Night Two: Tyler Gooch (Louisville) opening up the first comedy show ever at Modern Studio.
Night Two: Hayley Ellman (Atlanta) at Holly’s Corner.
Night One: “You, sir…!” Goddamnit, I love Art Sturtevant.
Night One: Keith Bergman (Toledo) asking the big questions at Pretentious Beer Co.
Night One: Greg Behrens (Atlanta) kicking off show one at Pretentious. That girl in the foreground speaks for all of us.
