Yeahhhh, buddy so exciting to be back in NYC after all these years. Three, to be exact. That’s an eternity when you grew up going into the city several times a year, gawking at the tall buildings and learning how much more important everyone else’s time was than yours. Also, I don’t have an antique postcard from New York, because my great-grandfather lived in Brooklyn. So, I’ve decided to use this photo of Sick of It All, which I think represents the real NYC as much as anything.
Anyway, I’m on Gentrify! at UCB East Village at 10:30pm. Tickets are $12 and they can be purchased here or you can roll the dice and try grabbing tix at the door. See you tonight.
